The name “Novo Dementia” is psuedo-Latin. It might even be valid Latin, I don't know. To me “Novo” meant “new”, and “Dementia” meant “craziness” or “insanity”. “Novo Dementia” meant the new insanity. Now site "dictionary.com" tells me that "novo" means “fresh; another; different” and that "dementia" means “severe impairment or loss of intellectual capacity and personality integration, due to the loss of or damage to neurons in the brain”. Ah well.

[FLAG]   The flag of Novo Dementia displays a prominent yellow stripe running diagonally from lower left to upper right. The stripe is the symbol of our sovereignty. Above the stripe the flag is black; below the stripe the flag is blue. The black stands for the night sky; the blue stands for the daytime sky. Significantly there is no reference to land.

Normal cloth flags have two sides. When a flag of Novo Dementia is made using cloth, the yellow diagonal stripes of the two sides should line up with each other, resting back-to-back with each other. The flag should be attached to a flagpole along the side where the yellow stripe is at the lower edge of the material. Looking at the side of the cloth where the yellow stripe extends from lower left to upper right, the flagpole should be on the left edge.

The national anthem of Novo Dementia is Yellow Submarine by the Beatles.

If a miracle happens and Novo Dementia gets its own Internet domain, that domain will be "nd".
